I agree that as educators we have many different responsibilities. There are many pressures on teachers such as test scores, planning lessons, and attending professional development to stay up to date on the latest research. Teachers do need to be actively involved in the decision making process when making decisions about implementing technology (Hall, 2008). Administrators come from a different viewpoint than educators. In my experience I have seen the best schools have the administration work equally with the teachers. There is truth that teachers have the experience with teaching the kids, so their decision is going to be based less just on test score but about what is best for the student. Research is essential to making data-driven decisions. That is why it is important that there is a team involved in the decision making process regarding technology.

I agree that the teacher/student ratio is very important when it comes to being effective in the classroom. As you stated children who struggle academically should be place in a smaller classroom setting where they can get more hands on instructions from their teacher. I also believe that educators should be able to share their ideas and be a part of some decision making concerning their position and their involvement in educational matters. Every educational staff member should be held accountable doing their job effectively. As far as technology in the classroom environment I believe the decision should come from the administration but it would be nice if the administration listen to the different views of the educational staff who will implement the technology into their daily curriculum because they are the one's who know their students and what is needed to effectively instruct their students.
